About Me
I am Ayandola Ayanleke (Naija Storyteller), a content writer with over five years of experience writing personal and brand stories.
I could bore you with details of how I worked as an SEO Copywriter at a digital agency in Nigeria for two years and as a Content Marketer for a US-based SAAS company, and that makes me the best fit for your job. Still, I’d rather tell you a story.

I started writing in my early teens, but at that point, all I knew were novels, so I wrote many stories that my friends and classmates seemed to enjoy. I remember telling everyone who cared to listen that my dream was to publish a book, which I have done with Wrong but Right, and more are in the works.
However, that was all I thought I could do with writing until I finished school and stayed home for six months, broke and many rejection letters later. It might shock you that I had stopped writing at that point.
Yes, I can’t believe it myself, but I did.
One beautiful day, while wallowing in self-pity, a Secondary School friend reached out to me and asked if I wanted to join a writers’ group she had created. I told her I hadn’t written in a long while, and she was appalled.
“I enjoyed those beautiful stories you used to write then”, she told me. “What could have made you stop writing?”
I had no idea.

But needless to say, she reignited my passion with that beautiful group. I started writing short stories posted on a free blogger site and shared on Facebook.
Through that, someone reached out to me and asked if I could write articles for a blog.
I had written school papers and am a writer; I was sure I could do that. And I did, surprising myself.
Now, this story is getting longer than I intended; let me get to the meat of it.

I am a storyteller, hence the name Naija Storyteller.
So, what’s a storyteller doing telling businesses she can improve their bottom line?
Well, I got you reading to this point, didn’t I? That’s what I will do for your business – get your target audience reading to the point where you can sell to them.
After fulfilling years working in the organisations I mentioned above and freelancing, I finally realised my strength – it took me this long, I know.
I am a fantastic storyteller (don’t take my word for it—check out the testimonials below, and I enjoy working with businesses. I also love content writing.
